  • 50 g Onion
  • 1 large Garlic clove
  • 20 g Olive oil
  • 6 large Tomatoes
  • 4 large Basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable stock concentrate or 1 stock cube
  • 500 ml water

Tomato and basil soup. Directions

  1. Place Onion and garlic into the TM bowl.
  2. Chop speed 5 for 3 seconds.
  3. Scrape down sides of bowl.
  4. Add Oil.
  5. Leave MC off and saute for 3 minutes on varoma speed 2.
  6. Add tomatoes and basil and chop on speed 7 for 5 seconds.
  7. Add stock concentrate or cube and water.
  8. Cook for 7 minutes, 100 deg C, Speed 2.
  9. Place MC back into lid.
  10. Blend on speed 8 for 45 seconds (gradually increasing speed from 4 to 8).
  11. Serve hot.
