Yoghurt Dinner Rolls

  • 350 g All Purpose Flour
  • 30 g Sugar
  • 20 g Butter
  • 100 g Milk
  • 100 g Yoghurt
  • 5 g Yeast

Yoghurt Dinner Rolls Directions

  1. 1.  Put milk into TM bowl.  Set 1 min 30 sec/ 37 degrees/ Speed 1
  2. 2.  Add Yeast into TM bowl.  Set 10sec/ speed 1
  3. 3.  Add all of the rest of the ingredients.  Set 40 secs/ Speed 2.
  4. 4.  Set 3 min/ Knead function.
  5. 5.  Use finger to touch dough, if it doesn't stick too much to your finger, then it is ready.  If it is very sticky, add more flour and knead 30 seconds more.
  6. 6.  Take out of TM Bowl and into a floured bowl.  Put in warm environment covered with tea towel to rise for 30 minutes.
  7. 7.  Punch it down to get the air out.
  8. 8.  Oil Baking pan (or use parchment paper).  Divide dough into 8 pieces, shape them and place them into the baking pan.  Make sure to leave room in between to let it rise another 30 minutes to 1 hour.  Cover with Tea Towel the whole time.
  9. 9.  Preheat oven to 180 degree celsius.
  10. 10.  When the dough is ready to be put into the oven, turn the oven down to 160 degrees celsius.  Bake at 160 for 10 minutes.  Then lower the temperature again to 150 degrees celsius and bake another 20 minutes.  Then voila!  Very soft and moist rolls!

Recipe notes

*The Amount of flour needed depends on the kind of yoghurt used.  If use very watery type, then will need more flour (may need up to 400g).  If yoghurt is more thick, then 300 g may be sufficient.
